Next Big Future: Venture Beat Investigates Blacklight Power

So do you think pollution might be a problem? This pdf claims it doesn't pollute. Obviously regulation could be a problem.

However, the big question for this post is how a cheap energy source would effect the economy. If you had ten (or a hundred etc) thousand dollars to invest, which investments would have the highest impact? Companies who have the largest energy bill have a lot to gain.

What happens to the hydrinos as they are released into the atmosphere? aren't they supposed to be less dense than even hydrogen? Would they be stuck up in the upper atmosphere, or would they just boil away into outer space? hmm.

How would it possibly be less dense simply by having it's electron in a smaller orbit? Even if it lost its electron entirely, we're talking about so little mass as compared to the electron that there would be no measurable density difference.

We don't go to the bottom of the ocean to find all of the D20 do we?
