I'm not sure just how well this would work for long-term pain management (individual perception is too individual and variable, I think), but this ought to revolutionize birth control delivery if nothing else. Either as a dry powder for an inhaler or in liquid suspension for a nasal spray, being able to ingest a multi-month contraceptive with a simple inhalation would make for a pleasent change for women from the presently available options. I'm certain there will be other conditions that could be targetted via similar mechanism as well, but anything sex related always seems to have a ready market somehow. :) Go figure.
