    Conflating nuclear power and nuclear war in this analysis strikes me as dishonest. It's almost as if Jacobson wasn't getting the numbers he wanted, so he cooked up a nice little fudge factor to make things go his way.

    If one is going to add fudge factors of this sort, why not add a fudge factor that takes into account the increased likelihood of resource wars as a result of a policy of domestic energy scarcity, which is a result of mandating intermittent and unreliable sources of energy, such as wind and solar?

    Yes, I agree biased and dishonest. Fudging nuclear and biofuels down and making positive assumptions for wind and solar.
